Desert sunset tour - We did the sunset tour in Wahiba Sands that involved some dune bashing, time spent on the sand dunes and watching the sun go down while sipping on some traditional Omani coffee. We were pleased with the organisation of the trip as well as our guide, Nayef. The dunes are truly gorgeous and we wished we had planned an overnight stay as the desert is definitely worth a visit.

Souk Visit - Interesting visit to the Souk . Try the dates and local tasting plates . Very safe and the merchants aren’t pushy. Well worth a look. Take local Rial currency and be prepared to bargain with the merchants.

In the desert, Hamad has carefully created a deeply personal experience, far away from the crowded tourists sites that most people visit.
As a guide, Jamal could not have been more attentive; taking us off the beaten track and into places only locals know about.
